CPR & AED Training
If you already have a defibrillator it’s important that your employees know where it is. Every second counts and this course will give you the confidence to act quickly and efficiently. Most importantly the course will also teach defibrillator operators how to perform effective CPR.
Why should we attend? AEDs (automated external defibrillators) have been proven to save lives and are therefore an invaluable addition to health and safety provision for your employees. Once adefibrillators is installed in your workplace we recommend you train all personnel on how to use it.
Our CPR and AED training course teaches the essential skills that an AED operator needs and gives trainees the confidence to know what to do in an emergency. Defibrillators are very simple to operate, and no previous training is required to attend this course.
Who should attend? If you are interested in furthering your emergency first aid skills or already take part in an organised first aid scheme, then this course would suit you. If you are a health care worker, then this course will serve as a basic module. No previous first aid knowledge is needed to attend an AED course.

• The role of the first aider
• Managing an emergency
• Communication and casualty care
• Chest pains
• Getting to know the AED (any type)
• Operating the AED
• Treatment of an unresponsive casualty
• Resuscitation (CPR)

4 Hours
Assessment
Continuous observation by the trainer along with trainees having to fill out Individual Learning records.
Certification
Successful candidates receive a certificate, valid for one year.
