First Aid At Work Training
Our First Aid at Work training course meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
Who should attend? This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training.
What you will learn? The content of the course will cover how to deal with the following:
• The role of the first aider
• Managing an emergency
• Health and safety (first aid) regulations
• Communication and casualty care
• Resuscitation (adult and child CPR)
• Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Instruction
• Choking (adult and child)
• Fainting
• Asthma
• Poisoning
• Control of Bleeding
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Seizures
• Burns and scalds
• Anaphylaxis
• Chest pains (including heart attack)
• Shock
• Head injuries
• Spinal injuries
• Eye injuries
• Stroke
• Unconscious casualty
Course Duration
Three days (18 Training & Contact Hours).
Assessment
Continuous observation by the trainer along with delegates having to fill out an Individual learning record.
Certification
Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
